The John F. Kennedy Museum of the Diplomatic Gift

The John F. Kennedy Museum consists of a view of the Oval Office of President Kennedy displaying every single gift given to him by a president, king or head of state. The room is also equipped with the red carpet that President Kennedy made install while he was on the trip to Dallas where he would be assassinated. These drawing depicts how his office would have looked had he returned from Dallas and if he had chosen to put on display all of his gifts, each one representing a whole country and their diplomatic relationship with the United States during the early sixties. The drawing was part of the show Dreams Lived, at the Gallery at FIT, New York, 2013.
